Itinerary
DAY 1
Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Your safari begins with a morning departure from Arusha towards Tarangire National Park. Known for its enormous elephant herds and iconic baobab trees, Tarangire offers some of the best wildlife viewing in northern Tanzania.
Spend the day exploring the park’s river valleys, woodlands, and open plains while searching for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, lions, and numerous bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch before continuing your afternoon game drive.
Later, transfer to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

DAY 2
Tarangire – Central Serengeti
After breakfast, depart for the legendary Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy breathtaking views as you travel through the highlands before descending onto the famous Serengeti plains.
Upon entering the park, begin your first game drive through the wildlife-rich Seronera region. The area supports year-round wildlife and offers excellent opportunities to spot lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and numerous plains game species.
Arrive at camp before sunset.

DAY 3
Full Day Central Serengeti Safari
Spend the entire day exploring Central Serengeti, one of Africa’s most productive wildlife areas. Early morning and afternoon game drives maximize your chances of observing predator activity and large concentrations of resident wildlife.
Depending on the season, you may encounter migration herds passing through the area while searching for lions, cheetahs, hyenas, leopards, elephants, and buffaloes.
Return to camp in the evening.

DAY 4
Central Serengeti – Northern Serengeti
After breakfast, continue northward following the migration route towards the Mara River region. This scenic game drive allows you to experience different habitats within the Serengeti ecosystem while enjoying continuous wildlife viewing.
As you approach Northern Serengeti, the migration becomes increasingly visible, with large herds of wildebeests and zebras gathering near river crossing points.
Arrive at camp and enjoy your first evening in migration territory.

Full Day Northern Serengeti Safari
Today is dedicated to tracking the Great Migration and exploring the spectacular Mara River ecosystem. Your guide will follow herd movements and position you in the best areas for wildlife viewing and potential river crossing activity.
The region also supports abundant predators, including lions, leopards, hyenas, and cheetahs, making every game drive exciting and unpredictable.

Northern Serengeti – Ngorongoro Highlands
Enjoy a final morning game drive before beginning your journey south through the Serengeti. Continue wildlife viewing as you travel towards the Ngorongoro Highlands.
The drive itself offers excellent game-viewing opportunities and stunning scenery as you pass through one of Africa’s most remarkable ecosystems.
Arrive in Karatu during the afternoon and enjoy a relaxing evening at your lodge.

Ngorongoro Crater – Lake Manyara – Arusha
After an early breakfast, descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day safari. Home to one of Africa’s highest concentrations of wildlife, the crater offers excellent opportunities to spot lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, zebras, wildebeests, hyenas, and the endangered black rhinoceros.
Following a picnic lunch, continue to Lake Manyara National Park for an afternoon game drive. Explore the lush groundwater forests and lakeshore habitats while searching for elephants, baboons, flamingos, hippos, and the park’s famous tree-climbing lions.
Later in the afternoon, return to Arusha where your safari concludes.
