Itinerary
DAY 1
Zanzibar – Tarangire National Park
Your adventure begins with an early morning transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your scheduled flight to northern Tanzania. Upon arrival, you’ll meet your professional safari guide and set off for Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most spectacular wildlife destinations.
Famous for its giant baobab trees and impressive elephant herds, Tarangire offers excellent opportunities to encounter elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, lions, and numerous bird species. Enjoy a scenic game drive through the park while learning about the unique ecosystem and wildlife that make Tarangire so special.
After a picnic lunch inside the park, continue your afternoon safari before departing for Karatu, where you’ll settle into your lodge overlooking the beautiful Ngorongoro Highlands.

DAY 2
Ngorongoro Crater – Zanzibar
After an early breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater. Often referred to as Africa’s “Garden of Eden,” this UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to one of the highest concentrations of wildlife on the continent.
Spend the morning exploring the crater floor, where you may encounter lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, zebras, wildebeests, hyenas, and the rare black rhinoceros. The crater’s diverse habitats and resident wildlife population provide some of the best game viewing opportunities in East Africa.
Following a picnic lunch near the hippo pool, enjoy a final game drive before ascending the crater and transferring to the airstrip for your flight back to Zanzibar. Arrive in the evening with unforgettable memories of Tanzania’s extraordinary wildlife and landscapes.
