Itinerary
DAY 1
Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Your safari begins with a morning departure from Arusha to Tarangire National Park. Famous for its giant baobab trees and some of the largest elephant herds in East Africa, Tarangire offers exceptional wildlife viewing throughout the year.
Spend the day exploring the park while searching for elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeests, lions, and a variety of bird species. After a picnic lunch and afternoon game drive, continue to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

DAY 2
Tarangire – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park via the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands. Enjoy spectacular views and a brief stop at the Ngorongoro Crater viewpoint before continuing into the endless Serengeti plains.
Upon entering the park, begin your first game drive while heading toward your safari camp. Keep an eye out for lions, elephants, giraffes, cheetahs, and numerous other wildlife species that inhabit the Serengeti ecosystem.

DAY 3
Full Day Serengeti Safari
Today is dedicated entirely to exploring the Serengeti. Venture across vast plains and wildlife-rich areas in search of predators, large herbivores, and seasonal migration herds.
Depending on the time of year, you may encounter thousands of wildebeests and zebras, observe lions resting beneath acacia trees, or witness cheetahs hunting across the open savannah. Your guide will tailor the day according to wildlife movements and recent sightings.

DAY 4
Another Full Day Serengeti Safari
A second full day in the Serengeti allows for a deeper exploration of the park’s diverse habitats. Travel to different sectors of the ecosystem, visit remote wildlife areas, and enjoy more opportunities to witness extraordinary animal behavior.
With additional time in the park, you increase your chances of spotting elusive wildlife such as leopards, cheetahs, servals, and large predator interactions. The day concludes with another spectacular Serengeti sunset.

DAY 5
Serengeti – Ngorongoro Highlands
After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive as you slowly make your way out of the Serengeti. Continue toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying wildlife sightings along the route.
Arrive in Karatu during the afternoon and relax at your lodge while preparing for your crater safari the following day.

DAY 6
Ngorongoro Crater – Lake Manyara – Arusha
Begin the day with an early descent into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater. Spend the morning exploring this UNESCO World Heritage Site, home to one of Africa’s highest concentrations of wildlife. Search for lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, hyenas, zebras, wildebeests, and the endangered black rhinoceros.
Following a picnic lunch, continue to Lake Manyara National Park for an afternoon game drive. Explore the park’s groundwater forest, lakeshore habitats, and open grasslands while looking for elephants, baboons, flamingos, hippos, and the famous tree-climbing lions.
Later in the afternoon, return to Arusha where your safari concludes.
