Fly-in safaris are especially valuable when travelling to distant parts of the Serengeti or combining destinations that would otherwise require lengthy road transfers.
Flights generally use smaller aircraft connecting regional airports and bush airstrips across Tanzania.
After landing, your guide can meet you at the airstrip and the journey continues by safari vehicle, often with wildlife appearing within minutes of leaving the runway.
