Arusha → Serval Wildlife
Your journey begins in Arusha with a visit to Serval Wildlife for a wildlife experience before the main safari begins.
Spend time exploring the property and enjoying close encounters with wildlife before returning to Arusha. The remainder of the day is yours to relax and prepare for the adventure ahead.

Arusha → Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, meet your private safari guide and travel to Tarangire National Park for your first traditional game drive.
Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant herds, giant baobab trees and wildlife-rich landscapes surrounding the Tarangire River. Explore the park in search of elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo and abundant birdlife.
After your game drive, continue to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Tarangire → Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, journey toward Serengeti National Park through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands.
As you enter the Serengeti, the landscape opens into immense plains dotted with acacia trees and rocky kopjes. Enjoy an afternoon game drive en route to Central Serengeti, looking for lions, elephants, giraffes, cheetahs, buffalo and numerous plains animals.

Central Serengeti → Kogatende
Spend the day exploring Central Serengeti, one of the park’s most wildlife-rich regions and an excellent area for spotting big cats.
Continue north toward Kogatende and the landscapes of Northern Serengeti. During the migration season, enormous herds of wildebeest and zebra move through this region on their annual journey across the Serengeti-Mara ecosystem.

Mara River → Central Serengeti
Begin the morning around the Mara River, one of the most celebrated locations along the Great Migration route.
During the migration season, wildebeest and zebra may gather along the riverbanks before attempting dramatic crossings. Because these movements are completely natural, river crossings cannot be guaranteed.
After exploring Kogatende, enjoy a game drive south toward Central Serengeti.

Central Serengeti → Ngorongoro
Enjoy another full day of wildlife viewing across Central Serengeti. Search the plains, kopjes and river valleys for lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants and the many other species that make the Serengeti their home.
Later, begin your journey toward the Ngorongoro area and arrive at your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Ngorongoro Crater → Arusha
After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive across its extraordinary crater floor.
Look for lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, zebras, wildebeest and hyenas, with the possibility of seeing the endangered black rhino. The crater’s lakes and wetlands also support flamingos and abundant birdlife.
After lunch, ascend from the crater and drive back to Arusha. Overnight at Tulia Boutique Hotel, or depending on your flight arrangements, transfer to the airport for your onward journey to Zanzibar.

Arusha → Zanzibar
Transfer to the airport for your flight from Arusha to Zanzibar.
On arrival, meet your driver and transfer to your beach hotel. After several days of safari, the rest of the day is deliberately unhurried. Settle in, enjoy the Indian Ocean and relax at your hotel.

Today is completely yours.
Spend the day relaxing beside the Indian Ocean or choose from optional Zanzibar experiences such as snorkelling, scuba diving, a traditional dhow cruise or a visit to historic Stone Town.
Return to your beach hotel for your final night on the island.

Zanzibar → Departure
Enjoy your final morning in Zanzibar at leisure, depending on your international flight schedule.
Later, transfer from your hotel to Zanzibar International Airport for your onward flight, bringing your Tanzania safari and beach journey to a close.
