Arusha → Kogatende
Your safari begins with a transfer to Arusha Airport for your scheduled flight to Kogatende in the Northern Serengeti. Flying directly into the Serengeti saves valuable travel time while offering spectacular aerial views of northern Tanzania’s changing landscapes.
On arrival at Kogatende Airstrip, meet your private safari guide and begin your first game drive through the Northern Serengeti. During the migration season, this region becomes one of the most exciting wildlife areas in Tanzania, with vast herds of wildebeest and zebra moving across the plains.
Continue exploring until evening before heading to camp for dinner and your first night in the Serengeti.

Kogatende → Central Serengeti
Start the morning exploring the Mara River and surrounding Kogatende area. During the Great Migration season, wildebeest and zebra gather around the river, where dramatic crossings may occur as the herds continue their journey through the Serengeti-Mara ecosystem.
After exploring the Northern Serengeti, begin your journey south toward Central Serengeti with a game drive along the way. The changing landscapes provide excellent opportunities to encounter lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, cheetahs and other wildlife.
Arrive in Central Serengeti in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Central Serengeti → Ngorongoro
Spend the day exploring Central Serengeti, one of the park’s most productive wildlife regions. Its open plains, kopjes and river valleys support abundant resident wildlife and are particularly renowned for sightings of lions, leopards and cheetahs.
Enjoy an extensive game drive before gradually making your way toward the Ngorongoro area. Leave the Serengeti behind and continue to your accommodation for a relaxing evening ahead of the following morning’s crater safari.

Ngorongoro Crater → Arusha
After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive across one of Tanzania’s most extraordinary wildlife environments.
Explore the crater floor in search of lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, zebras, wildebeest and hyenas, with the possibility of spotting the endangered black rhino. The crater’s lakes and wetlands also attract flamingos and numerous other bird species.
After lunch, ascend from the crater and begin your journey back to Arusha. Arrive in the evening and transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay.
